# How to Create a Staking Pool through a Decentralized Proposal?

Hello, IC project team,

Our new Staking Pool feature has been made available to IC project teams. It includes a service fee parameter. The ICPSwap team will not charge any pool creation fees and will cover the costs of cycle consumption and maintenance. However, we will charge a 5% service fee on the earnings of users in the Staking Pool pool. This service fee will be used to buy and burn ICS, promoting the deflation of the $ICS token. This approach benefits ICS by reducing the total supply!

Currently, if you need to create a Staking Pool, please contact "<contact@icpswap.org>" for assistance. In the future, we will set up a frontend for creating Staking Pool and update the tutorial.
