How to use MetaMask to log in to ICPSwap?

Note:

This connection method is similar to the Internet Identity mechanism, connecting to any DApp on IC will generate a different Principal.

Backing up the mnemonic phrase for your Ethereum wallet will allow you to recover your Internet Computer (IC) wallet.

  1. Enter the ICPSwap apparrow-up-right.

  1. Click Connect Wallet, then select MetaMask.

  1. Select an Ethereum wallet, click Next, and proceed until the installation is complete.

Note: Make sure to update your default settings for pop-ups and redirects.

  1. The page will redirect to the MSQ website. Select your previous Ethereum wallet and click Next until the connection is successful.

  1. Now choose an Internet Computer (IC) wallet address to log in.

  1. Connection successful.
