# How to use MetaMask to log in to ICPSwap?

**Note**: 

This connection method is similar to the Internet Identity mechanism, connecting to any DApp on IC will generate a different Principal.

Backing up the mnemonic phrase for your Ethereum wallet will allow you to recover your Internet Computer (IC) wallet.

1. Enter the [ICPSwap app](https://app.icpswap.com/swap).

2. Click `Connect Wallet`, then select MetaMask.

3. Select an Ethereum wallet, click `Next`, and proceed until the installation is complete.

4. The page will redirect to the MSQ website. Select your previous Ethereum wallet and click `Next` until the connection is successful.

5. Now choose an Internet Computer (IC) wallet address to log in.

6. Connection successful.
